AAU's commitment to the tea industry goes beyond academic education. They offer a remarkable six-month-long Certification program called Tea Production Technology & Management, approved in 2012. This program equips students with scientific knowledge about tea cultivation, as well as essential skills for managing tea gardens profitably. Aimed at rural educated students and small tea growers, the program strives to create a network of knowledgeable graduates who will sustain Assam's tea business in the future.
