The Vibe boasts a rich history dating back to its storied past. Originally a large tea estate owned by the British, the property, including the rustic manager's bungalow built around the 60s, was passed on in the 1980s to one of Assam's oldest family-run companies. Although it no longer functions as a tea plantation - with the once meticulously pruned tea bushes having grown into trees - the old-world charm remains intact.
During the recent pandemic, as indoor gatherings were restricted, the need for outdoor spaces became apparent. The team at The Vibe seized this opportunity to curate events featuring good food, good music, and an impressive guest list. Word of mouth spread quickly, making this venue a favorite among a close-knit circle. However, to do justice to this exclusive place, it needed to be shared with a broader audience.

Please note that while The Vibe offers exceptional event spaces and services, accommodation is not available. However, to accommodate specific needs during events, the host may provide a private room. While the sale of alcoholic drinks is not permitted on the premises, guests are welcome to serve their own alcoholic beverages or bring their own for private events. Daytime musical events are preferred, but loud music is not desired. The venue’s guidelines ensure a pleasant experience for everyone and respect for neighbors, with specific rules applied to maintain ambience and minimize disturbances.
While The Vibe is an events venue, it has onboarded professionals in catering and decor, capable of providing everything from minimalist to luxury setups.
